How to make Blueberry Juice
1. First, rinse 1 cup fresh blueberries a couple of times in water. To get rid of pesticides, soak the blueberries in water mixed with 1 tablespoon of vinegar and ½ teaspoon baking soda.
You can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. Soak for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse again with fresh water twice and drain all the water.
2. Next, add the blueberries to a blender jar. You’ll need a high-quality blender to thoroughly pulverize the blueberries into a smooth juice.
3. Now, add 1 to 2 tablespoons raw sugar or your preferred sweetener. Adding sugar is optional and can be skipped if the blueberries are overly sweet. Be sure to taste the berries before deciding to add more sweetener.
4. Add 1 cup water. You can use water at room temperature or cold water. You can also consider adding a few ice cubes.
5. Then, add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
6. Blend the ingredients until the juice is super smooth.
7. Pour in glasses and serve the Blueberry Juice immediately. Blueberry Juice tastes best as soon as it is made. Do not let it rest, as after some minutes it may thicken and the taste changes as well.
FAQs
You can use maple syrup, coconut sugar, stevia or honey to sweeten. However, if your blueberries are ripe and juicy, you may possibly skip adding any sweetener.
For the best taste, I recommend enjoying the juice right away. For a chilled juice, use frozen or chilled blueberries and ice-cold water or ice cubes.
You are free to add any kind of fruit to create a juice blend you love. For instance, you can use fresh hulled strawberries, pineapple chunks, peeled peach slices, cranberries, etc. However, remember that using banana will make this juice a thicker, smoothie-like beverage.

Vinegar and baking soda make sodium acetate, which doesn’t get rid of pesticides, but it is a good way to create the always delicious salt & vinegar flavor. You can, however, submerge fruit into a solution of water and baking soda, having a ratio of 2 cups water to 1 teaspoon of baking soda, for at least 2 minutes.
I had little blueberries so small no one at my house wanted to eat them. Made delicious juice. Love this simple recipe!
