I have a bad habit of being a bit too heavy handed with spices when it comes to cooking Indian food, (and while I did put in a bit more cumin and garam masala I did my best to remain true to your recipe and it worked out very nicely) though even though this has a minimum amount of spice, the proportions are superb and the end result is a great dal, well done!5 stars
